Elmhurst, IL (August, 5 2011) – Common Goal Systems (www.common-goal.com), a leading developer of web-based products for schools, announces several major enhancements to SchoolInsight and TeacherEase. SchoolInsight is the company's comprehensive student management system, and TeacherEase is the popular standards-based gradebook.

The new functionality includes:
Multiple Instructors per Class/Section
Multiple instructors can now be assigned to a single class, and each can view and enter grades on the gradebook. This will improve cooperation between co-teachers and also helps special education teachers supporting classroom instruction.
Detailed gradebook grades on Student - Single View
SchoolInsight admins now have assignment level drilldown for student's grades from the student single view page. This provides a faster and more comprehensive view into student performance for administrators.
Progress Report Filtering
Generate progress reports, mailing labels and envelopes based upon threshold letter grades. Targeted reporting allows you to send progress reports to at risk students based upon your criteria.
New Cloud Computing Website Section

ISBE 2011/12 Updates (Illinois customers)
Annual ISBE updates ready for the start of 2011/12 school year. Three new export formats added this year: Birth to 3, Teacher Course Assignment Entry, and Teacher Course Assignment Exit.
District Exports
Improved district level exports for Instructors, Students, Courses, Classes, Grades and Rosters. Improved exports are faster than previously and can now be run for whole district at once.
Ability to move students between buildings in the same district
It's now easier to transfer students from building to building when students change schools. Synchronization of enrollment data between home and serving schools within the same district has also been improved. Please contact support@common-goal.com for help getting setup.
